I brought out all the shades of pink for my most recent outfit and night out. Pink is one of my favorite colors and in its various forms, it can be a whole lot more complex than just bubble gum or baby pink.
It doesn’t have to be super girly or silly or childish. Pink can pack a serious punch and be appropriate and welcome in just about any situation.
This look is pink from head to toe, save for my bag, since I don’t have a pink purse. What the what? This Dior bag kind of picks up the vibes from whatever color it’s paired with so it still went with the color scheme in my opinion.
There’s pink eye shadow, in both Haus Labs Rose Bitch eye crème and the deepest magenta in a Dior palette. Pink lipstick from Jouer. Pink gold in my earrings and necklaces. The deepest shade of berry pink in the sequins in my dress. And finally the rose pink in my shoes.
Whoa that’s a lot of pink. Maybe you wouldn’t want to wear it all at once, and that’s okay. I sometimes love mashing colors together, and I sometimes love taking a single color and making an outfit out of it. It’s all about mood, the color, and what I own. I didn’t let the fact that I don’t have a pink purse change my direction with this outfit; I paired it up as best I could.
The sky even showed off some pink hues this night.
We were at the Ann Arbor Chop House when I wore this, and I am so excited to share the review with you very soon. Spoiler alert – it was excellent!
