Play Date #FashionFriday

We are huge fans of theater, but we see far more musicals than we do plays, though we enjoy both equally.  I was introduced to the Purple Rose Theater a couple years ago and kept saying how I needed to visit.  We finally did late last year to see God of Carnage, a play I had always wanted to see.

The theater is in the town of Chelsea, which is cute and would be very walkable on a nice spring or summer day.  The theater itself is very nice and small, seating less than two hundred people with the stage right in the middle of the room.

We all enjoyed the play and were impressed with the high quality of the actors as well as the building itself.  There will definitely be return visits to the Purple Rose.

On the way home, we stopped at Zuzu’s Cafe for a quick coffee.  Not only was the cafe absolutely adorable, but the coffee was fantastic.  We can’t wait to return!

Because it was a cold day, but I knew I would be spending time inside, I wanted to be warm, but not too warm, and fashionable.  I went with a sweater and skirt, as well as a coat that isn’t as heavy as my typical winter coat.  Because I knew I wouldn’t be doing too much walking, I pulled out my fancy Jimmy Choos that really added a pop to the outfit.
