Last year I bought like four blue dresses and blue is so not my favorite color. Even if I love the dresses.
I love purple, and Mom bought me this fun purple dress for my birthday. I love love love the color. It’s so rich and vibrant. The flirty ruffled hem doesn’t hurt either.
I broke it out of the closet this past weekend when we made a last minute decision to go to Taste of Troy, more on that in the upcoming weeks. It’s a charity event to benefit the Boys and Girls club of Troy and has been held for 25 years, but it was our first time attending.
It was super fun! In the middle of my Whole30, I stuck to Tim Horton’s coffee, which was surprisingly amazing, and let Dad do all the eating. But still, it was great to have something fun to do on a super chilly day that otherwise would have been spent running errands.
Layering necklaces always appeals to me and this dress was the perfect time to try it out. Since the dress is sleeveless, I knew I’d be leaving my coat on, but I made it part of my look and tried not to wish for warmer weather too desperately.
Do you like purple?
