Though I definitely have a huge girly streak in me, I’m not a huge fan of ruffles. This blouse is one exception.
It does ruffles in a way that isn’t too frilly, perhaps especially since it is in blue and black instead of a lighter, pastel color.
I paired it with a classic black skirt, black bag, and black pumps. It’s an easy to wear outfit that is comfortable and classy.
Plus, it’s perfect for spring since it is warm enough to skip a coat, especially when it is sunny.
Do you like ruffles? What’s your go to classy comfortable look?

I’m not a fan of ruffles either but that is a cute blouse! Tiny girls always can seem to pull them off and look great!

I tend to like hardware on my clothes. I have a particular blouse that I love that has chains hanging from the scooped neckline. This looks great on you though.

I don’t care for ruffles at all. Your blouse is super-cute though. I tend to be very simple as far as my “classic” look goes. A simple, slightly contoured shift dress and flats or low heels is my go-to. Also, I absolutely LOVE your lipstick–What brand/shade is it?

Thanks, Rachel! It is Lancome Hibiscus Pink, which of course they don’t make any more. On top I have one of the new Tom Ford patent finish lip colors in Orchid Fatale. I really like it but it does run on me a little – but most glossy things do.
