While I am a fan of Squid Game (and saving the last episode because I want there to be more), I’m definitely not going murderous on you guys. If you read my book (and if you haven’t what are you waiting for???) you might have further questions, but we’re leaving it there for now.
People seem to think celebrating the holidays in Florida doesn’t feel like well … the holidays.
I have not found that to be the case at all. This is a magical time to be in Florida with decorations everywhere and the ability to be out and out enjoying them all without snow, ice, and freezing temperatures thwarting plans or coats covering festive outfits.
Wearing red or green always adds to my holiday spirit, so recently I wore both on outings. Red was the perfect thing for decorating a gingerbread house at the Ritz Carlton here in Orlando. It was so much fun and my outfit made me feel festive, as did the stunning decorations at the resort.
It’s really a simple look with a red blouse and a plaid skirt, but it just works for the season. It goes to show, holiday outfits don’t have to be overly complicated.
The green look for salon time and a walk in Winter Park was pretty simple too. A no frills green top is totally elevated with a more glamorous skirt. And allowing the dots on the skirt to mix with the dots on the shoes really adds that holiday bang.
Do you prefer to wear red or green or both for the holidays?

Love the red and green for the holidays! I more often think of wearing red but the green looks fantastic too! And your hair looks great!

I don’t have that much red (or green really lol) but both are so Christmas-y to me.
