So, Halloween has come and gone. I hope you had a good one and celebrated in the way that felt best to you.
But I couldn’t let the holiday slip away completely before showing you my “costume” and the adorableness of downtown Plymouth and its scarecrows. Even though I have a feeling most of you have already moved on to Christmas. That’s okay with me – you do you!
I took a trip to Plymouth just before Halloween actually. They have a bunch of scarecrows decorated by local businesses in the central park. They are all beyond adorable, and it’s clear a lot of time and care is put into making them. I have shown some of my favorites here, from super cute Groot to the glamorous Queen Bee. I’m always in awe of the creativity of people.
It’s been forever since I dressed up for Halloween, second grade I think, because I had to for school. And I’m not under the impression this is an actual or in any way impressive Halloween costume. I guess I was feeling a little creative and needed to express that creativity in a somewhat productive way.
So I put on my I’m a Cat hoodie with a black skirt, black accessories, black eye makeup and lipstick (okay so the lipstick is dark blue, but you get the point), and my cat sunglasses, and I make a costume. It was fun and it made me feel happy.
Right now that’s often the most we can ask for. A few moments of happiness. I hope you are able to find those moments and perhaps take inspiration from my blog – whether it’s to get dressed up even if you have nowhere to go or to bake up a sweet treat.

Cute costume although you are not scary if that was your goal! LOL! Love the decorations and another beautiful day for your excursion!

Haha 🙂 I think this year is scary enough so my costume didn’t need to be.

Christmas??!! Gotta get to Thanksgiving, first. Which happens to be my favorite holiday, so we don’t even think about Christmas until December. 🙂 Fun pictures — thanks.

I guess we’re all trying to wish the year away and in the mood for some Christmas cheer 🙂
