This dress just says summer to me. It flows in the breeze and has a gorgeous and delicate floral print with a white background. The tie straps and corset back feel like a call back to childhood with a serious and sophisticated upgrade. I love the corset and midi length. I love everything about the classic silhouette that reads formal with little details that give me all the carefree summer vibes.
I first saw Brie Garcia wear this dress during an interview on Live with Kelly and Mark (my breakfast viewing every morning) and I fell head over heels in love with it in an instant. I debated ordering it for awhile and recently took the plunge. I am so glad I did. Everything I loved about it on TV, I love even more in person.
It’s by a brand called Milla that is female-led. The dresses are hand made by tailors and this dress was made in Ukraine. Even better than a pretty dress is one with a great story that is carefully made with love. They have so many pretty dresses, I hope you’ll check them out!
I paired it with pink makeup and accessories, because why not with this lovely pink floral print??? The shoes, bag, and lipstick might not feel like a risk but I know pink eye shadow is not something a lot of people wear every day. It’s actually one of my favorite colors of eye shadow to wear. I love the striking, delicate nature and the way it brings out the blue in my eyes. Start with a light, sparkly color to play around and see if you like it.
