Prints have become one of my favorite things to wear. I love florals, but prints go so far beyond that. Animal print has been around forever and fruit prints have become more popular as of late.
When I saw this maxi skirt, I couldn’t resist. The print is rather unique, in part simply because of the color. The navy background with white design is classy yet striking, making the skirt ready for nearly any occasion from afternoon tea to a wedding with the right accompaniments. Beyond the colors, the floral, shell, and sea life pattern is breathtaking.
I feel like I can look at this skirt everyday and see something different in it, something I missed before. It’s a treasure hunt for a new flower or fish hidden among the larger shells that really do stand out to me.
When I look at the skirt, shells are the first thing I see, making me feel all the beachy Florida vibes. And then when I started to see shell earrings pop up on some other bloggers, they were the thing this outfit needed.
Though this wasn’t the first pair of shell earrings I saw, nor the ones I spotted on Atlantic Pacific, they are gorgeous, and I’m so glad I chose them. The star fish at the top and shell on the bottom in the most beautiful shade of pink have me swooning over them and excited to wear them again.
Because the shells are the star(fish) of this outfit, I paired them with a simple summery top, metallic bag and shoes to blend right in, and some bright makeup to enhance the beachy vibes. I definitely say shell yeah to more fun patterns in my world!
