So, I don’t know where you live, but there’s a pretty good chance this winter has been rough for you. It’s definitely been brutal here with a record breaking cold streak and snow that melted yesterday and has now returned right along with the cold. It’s bad. It’s so bad, and to be honest it’s hard to keep positive with it.
But like everyone else, I am doing my best. And this day at the Inn at St. John’s was a very good one despite the fact that I think it was a whopping twelve degrees this day, though the sun was out, so there’s that.
Mom and Dad had been to the Inn, but I had never been there, so it was a joy to check it out. We had some tasty coffee and a bite to eat before exploring the premises including the chapel and a wedding taking place later that evening.
It’s a beautiful hotel and I am imagining how gorgeous that wedding was with the glass atrium. Also imagining it in summer with the sun setting. I would happily return to the warm, fuzzy, quietly glamourous vibes of the Inn any day, anytime.
I love the brightness of this winter white sweater and plaid skirt. They both scream winter, but they aren’t black or gray like the lingering piles of snow that may never melt.
The boots were the perfect complement to keep me a little warmer and provide a contrast. Oh, and that cape, it’s basically an excuse to wear a blanket, and that’s something we can all get behind.
How are you coping with winter?

It has been a difficult winter here in Cincinnati so far. Record breaking low to record breaking high in the same week! Am looking forward to warmer weather. Love the cute look! A great winter look….keep as warm as you can!
