Shine Bright Like a Sequin #FashionFriday

It has been an incredibly hot summer with about twenty ninety degree days.  No complaining here.  The blue sky, thriving plant life, and bright sunshine are pretty hard to beat.

But then there was the day these photos were taken.  It was cloudy, chilly, and even drizzled, but we made the best of it.  We met up with a friend to hand off some of my old toys and books so they have a good home.  We chatted awhile in a parking lot, and it was so nice to be around another person.

While standing in the parking lot a guy shouted that if he were a girl he’d wear shoes like the ones I had on.  I mean, they are pretty fierce 😉

Then we decided to sit for a bit at Bistro Joe’s with some snacks.  The umbrella that has protected us from the sun on other visits, protected us from a little rain.  Go figure!  No complaints about the fun we had sitting there talking either.

Or this outfit, full of sparkle even though the sky was not.  I’m loving this rainbow sweater.  This was its first official outing.  Full of personality, color, and rhinestones, this is such a fun sweater.

I loved pairing it with this equally as fun pink sequined ruffled skirt.  It’s an entire outfit full of bright, happy, positive vibes.  And that’s about the only thing I want to put out into the world these days.
