It should come as no surprise I love all things sparkly and sequined, shiny and shimmery. I have tons of sequins, crystals, and even some metallic fabrics in my closet. It’s so fun to dress up and send prisms all over the place. As Taylor Swift might say, “I can still make the whole room shimmer.” And that can’t be a bad thing.
I do also love pink, though I tend to shy away from super bright shades of magenta and hot pink because they don’t work as well with my skin tone. Luckily there is a shade or two of pink for everyone.
Baby pink is such a soothing color that I wear quite a bit. Here I have paired a baby pink jacket and wrap with a deep pink, almost maroon, sequined dress. It’s one of my go to dresses and I love how it pairs with the lighter pink. Throughout the night, the outfit changed as I took off the jacket and just wore the wrap.
Silver and pink glitter shoes continued the shiny, tonal fun, and the pop of brighter pink in both outfit is from my go to pink bag.
The baby pink sequin dress definitely brought the shimmer power. I was called a disco ball literally four times throughout the evening, and I most definitely took it as a compliment 🙂 It’s a fun dress with a big personality, that I don’t wear a lot, but when I do it makes me smile. Paired with crystal shoes, I left a trail of beams of light in my path with the Florida sun shining down.
I can’t wait for another shiny, girly night out.
