This holiday season I have been very in to metallics. They are a sophisticated upgrade to traditional Christmas colors and give the season a little something different.
Don’t get me wrong, I still love red and green, but they are a little cliché. Beyond that, I tend to have more metallics in my closet because they are go to pieces for any special occasion, pretty much year round. They do fit in especially well in November and December when we all want everything to be gilded with the holiday spirit.
For me, that includes my outfit.
I love both gold and silver, so I’m showing you both today. They pair well with black, making for an outfit that pops but is insanely classic and polished. These pieces are all incredibly old, and I still love wearing them due to their timeless nature.
The black and silver outfit is so perfect for a day time or day to night occasion. That skirt was one of my first designer sale finds and I will love it forever and ever. I did add a pop of red with the shoes, because let’s face it, I am a little cliché 🙂
The gold and black dress made for the perfect night out attire to see the humongous tree, gingerbread house, and breathtaking fireworks at the Grand Floridian. Pro tip: if you want all the Magic Kingdom fireworks vibes without the crowds, go to the Grand Floridian. The show was beyond amazing.
This season has gone by so fast, but I’m hanging on to the end of it and all the fashion that goes with it.
