About a month ago we headed to Fenton to walk around and enjoy a nice summer day. We started with coffee at Rough Draught then walked all around town, which was almost empty. It was a Sunday and most of the shops were closed. I don’t understand that, especially in summer. We definitely would have done some shopping.
There’s a beautiful creek and waterfall. We saw a turtle in the creek and dragonflies in the air, and it was all kind of magical. It’s a great walking town with tons of flowers. And I really just felt great. I can’t explain why exactly, but it was one of those perfect days that I never ever wanted to end. Ever.
We stopped at Crust bakery to pick up some goodies as we left. They make the cinnamon rolls that Williams Sonoma ships, and after one taste, we knew why. They are insane!
I also loved my fun summer outfit. I have been pairing this Draper James cherry blouse with everything because it is quintessentially summer. This red skirt ups the fun, flirty vibes. Because summer is all about exploring and having fun!
When is the last day you just felt great?

Thanks for the nice comment, Debbie! I really appreciate it. Maybe it will be my new meditation mantra 🙂
