I have seen quite a few snakes since I have lived in Florida, including a few slithering around our lanai. One even left the skin he shed behind.
I don’t mind snakes. They actually do a lot of good in their habitat and the represent growth and rebirth.

The patterns and colors of their skin are pretty remarkable too. Fashion has taken note since there are quite a few products out there that utilize their skin (I don’t have anything snakeskin in my closet) and even more that replicate the print.
When I saw this dress on sale at Saks, I knew I had to add it to my closet. I don’t have anything even close to this dress with the gorgeous print. With black, brown, off-white, and even green in the print, I catch something different every single time I look at it. It’s ever changing and absolutely stunning.

The cotton fabric takes the dress from day to night with ease. I also love that it has pockets and the skirt has enough structuring to make it not just another day dress. This is a day dress that commands attention. I paired it with mostly black accessories since the dress speaks for itself.

Given I was channeling some Halloween vibes, I couldn’t resist adding my Pac Man ghost bag charm as well as my new Lablingbling. The A-Morir crystal encrusted Labubu’s were hard to miss at the US Open in September, and I am lucky enough to be able to call one mine. While I did not get one of the tennis inspired ones (yet), this mini blue one is so perfect. It’s honestly one of my favorite things I have bought in a long time, and I cannot wait to add more to my collection. They are the cutest, shiniest, happiest little accessories.
Regardless of what you are wearing today, Happy Halloween!
