It’s the Oscar this weekend and I’m watching a Star is Born today and I kind of had to. #sorrynotsorry
This is one of my favorite dresses. It was a once in a lifetime perfect sale find. I hadn’t worn it in awhile and was dying to. A Valentine’s celebration with my parents and some friends was the perfect time to do so.
It’s a romantic, fancy dress and paired so well with my blush Tribute sandals, also a sale score. One that had embarrassingly sat in the closet a little too long before being worn, but they are out and ready for more action now.
We had dinner at Iridescence – review next week – and stopped at Prime + Proper for snacks and drinks after dinner. It’s always a fun time there, and if you live in the Detroit area and haven’t been, what are you waiting for???
I really do think the little white dress should come into style more and more. White is a happy bright color that definitely pops way more than a little black dress. Anyone can wear it as long as you find the right silhouette, fabric, and let’s be honest, proper undergarments. I have a slip on with this dress, for example, since the skirt is on the sheer side.
