When I was a kid, I had tons of sundresses. Tons of them. Lots of floral prints and billowy skirts. They were my jam and I wore them all the time in the warm months: to go shopping, ride a bike, take a walk, anything and everything.
Now, it’s so much harder to find amazing sundresses. Ones that fit well, look nice, are comfortable, effortless, and perfect for the nice weather. That’s a lot of pressure to put on a dress.
But I found one that lives up to all of it. this dress is super reasonable (and now on clearance – go find it!), and easy to wear, and I love it more than I have loved a dress of this variety in years and years.
It shouldn’t work or be my thing for a number of reasons, but it just does. From the halter neck to the open back, to the flowing nature of it, I want to live in this dress for the rest of the summer. And since it’s machine washable (seriously!), I pretty much can.
I paired it with my favorite summer sandals. They are a new vintage find. Someone had them sitting in their closet for years and returned them to Neiman Marcus. A sales associate alerted me and now they are one of my favorite parts of my wardrobe. I don’t get to wear them often, but when I do, they always make me happy.
Do you have a favorite sundress?
