I had a wild and crazy New Year’s Eve.
Mom, Dad, and I went to the Sea Life Aquarium at Great Lakes Crossing. Oh, yeah, that’s how we roll. Don’t be left behind.
It was actually a blast and we loved checking out all the fish from sharks to jellyfish to starfish to blue marlin and clownfish like Dory and Nemo!
Though it was almost fifty outside, it was freezing, so I wore my new Alexander McQueen sweater that is seriously heavy. Really, it weights at least five pounds. It’s the first peplum piece I have and I love it. The pencil skirt keeps things from looking too puffy.
Because seasons are nothing more than a suggestion to me when it comes to choosing what I will wear, I added a purple clutch and blue shoes for some much needed pops of color that blended in with the sea creatures and their environments perfectly.
What did you do on NYE? Something more exciting than me I am sure 😉
Sweater: Alexander McQueen // Skirt: Dolce and Gabbana // Shoes: Christian Louboutin // Bag: Valentino
We went to a restaurant El Coyote (Tex-Mex which is a favorite of mine and they have the best margaritas!) with five other couples. All of the girls in the couples went to high school together. We still are friends and stay in touch. It was great but during dinner Scott got sick and we had to go home. And then I got sick so our new year’s was much worse than your! Glad you three had a blast. I love the aquarian and I love your outfit!!!
