Cause of Death is finally here! Woo hoo! It came out Tuesday, May 4th, Star Wars day!
You know this has been an incredibly long journey for me. I am filled with joy and pride and happiness at this opportunity. I am overwhelmed by all the emotions and the support from my family, friends, and fans who have pre-ordered.
I also have to thank Woodhall Press for bringing this book to publication finally.
I love Cause of Death and I hope you do as well. If you haven’t ordered a copy, I would so love if you would do so from Amazon. If you do so, you might notice it says it won’t ship for a bit. And if you go to Barnes and Noble it says they are temporarily out of stock.
And if you already ordered and were expecting to get your book Tuesday, I was expecting the same thing for you, and it didn’t happen. Books are starting to ship now. This issue was out of my control. I have been calling and emailing my publisher and they have been doing the same with the distributor. We are working together to get this solves. I promise you will get your book as soon as possible. You want to read Cause of Death and I want you to!
I tried to make Tuesday a celebration as it was the day my book was officially published, but with these issues it was hard and stressful. I am frustrated and disappointed but hopeful everything will be figured out. There are so many moving parts and only so many things I can do. I guess Cause of Death will kind of have two book birthdays – the day it was published and the day it was officially released to readers. Two birthdays sounds pretty good to me.
The one thing this crazy world has taught me (and continues to do so at every turn) is that nothing is guaranteed. However, no one will ever be able to take being a published author away from me. That’s such a powerful feeling and it is one most definitely worth celebrating, especially once these problems are solved.
Again, thank you so much for ordering. Please order if you haven’t. Please tell your family and friends. If you love Cause of Death, please leave a five star review on Amazon and/or Barnes and Noble. You can also follow me on Goodreads. Call your local bookstores and request copies to be stocked. I still need your help and support so much! You mean the world to me! I am blown away by your love!

WOW!! It’s finally here! So very happy for you and loved your post. That was so thoughtful of your Aunt Janet and her daughters to send flowers! And of course your mom and dad! They are just gorgeous, both bouquets. I can’t wait to get my book as I am sure are many of your other fans waiting to get theirs.
