We’re in that time of year when the weather doesn’t quite know what season it is. It’s sunny and warm one day and freezing cold and snowing the next. At least there are some nice days, though I know we all here in Michigan would like a few more as the Detroit area approaches sixty inches of snow for the winter.
It’s hard to know how to dress when even in the same day temperatures fluctuate twenty degrees and you don’t know if the sun will able to combat what sometimes feel like gale force winds.
This was one of those chilly but sunny, rather windy days when it was kind of sort of nice outside, particularly in the afternoon and got very warm in the car. How would you dress for that?
I put on a blouse and my new Ted Baker skirt. It’s my first Ted Baker piece and I absolutely love it. It is so bright and festive and works well for day as well as evening.
I knew that wasn’t going to be warm enough so I put on my super warm peplum sweater and was pretty much comfortable the entire day.
As we inch toward the middle of March, I hope more warm weather is headed our way.
Are you looking forward to spring?
Sweater: Alexander McQueen // Blouse: Theory // Skirt: Ted Baker // Bag: Prada // Sunglasses: Anna Karin Karlsson // Shoes: Christian Louboutin
It did look like a blustery day there. Very cute outfit and glad the sweater was enough to make you comfortable. I am so looking forward to spring!! Our February was nicer than March is starting but hopefully warmer weather is around the corner!
Yes, March has been so cold and yucky. We need spring!
nice post
Thank you, Arth!
