I’ve noticed the sky a lot lately, in all its beautiful forms.
Bright blue, almost unbelievably blue without a cloud in sight.
Blue with the biggest puffy clouds. They look like cotton balls floating through the atmosphere, like you want to jump on them and take a nap.
And then there are these fifty shades of gray moody skies. The one this day was gorgeous in its complexity. It wasn’t a carefree, happy sky, but one that threatened to open up at any second. One that did unleash a few drops, just enough to ruin outdoor plans, but not enough to water the plants.
The breeze blew through and it was just so nice to be outside enjoying it.
I didn’t really know what to wear honestly so I snagged this dress of Mom’s. Kind of like the sky, it’s moody and summery. In shades of black, blue, and red, the tie dye pattern is trendy without being wild.
By pairing the dress with black accessories, it’s an outfit that can go from the office to cocktails, a walk in the park to dinner with friends. It’s the do anything outfit that I love no matter the season or occasion.
