I haven’t always been the best about celebrating holidays. You know, actually celebrating them. Taking the time to get ready and go out an make memories on holidays. That does feel pretty easy to do in Orlando where the resorts and theme parks love reasons to celebrate. While there are a plethora of activities that are sure to suit any taste, one of my favorites has become the afternoon tea at the Ritz Carlton.
I had seen the one held at the RC in Naples for a few years before I moved to Orlando and I hoped one day I would get to experience the fun. Now, it’s something I don’t miss whenever it is offered. I recently went to the Easter tea complete with stuffed bunny gifts, a visit from the Easter Bunny, stunning flowers, and a spray of pastel balloons.
They are happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions with notice and took care of us with a gluten and chocolate free spread. Everything is delicate and delicious, but the coconut macaroons are forever my favorite. The tea is also exceptional. I’ve tried to at least recreate the tea at home, and let me tell you, it is not the same. The Ritz knows how to do it right.
If you ever have the chance to experience tea at Ritz Carlton Orlando, or any other Ritz that offers the experience, I hope you try it. I’m already looking forward to my next experience.
For the occasion, I broke out a bright and flowery dress that screams Easter to me and is no joke about twenty years old. It’s one of the oldest pieces in my closet and I still love it. I paired it with my pink bag and shiny new towering platform sandals in the prettiest shade of green. Popping an old favorite with a new accessory really made it feel special.
Have you ever gone to tea?
