Here in Orlando, the Waldorf Astoria has been undergoing major renovations. They aren’t quite complete, but the lobby and Peacock Alley were recently unveiled. Just a few days after Peacock Allery reopened, I had to stop by and see the change for myself.
It’s a big change, and the bar has definitely lost some of that classic Waldorf history and feel, but I absolutely love the bright, Florida vibes of the room. They are still figuring details out and have yet to bring in a new espresso machine, but that is no big deal when all the chairs and tables and décor are new. The white marble, the rattan chairs, the gold accents – it’s all pretty dreamy.
There is also an all-new drink and food menu that includes steak frites with hand cut fries. Hand cut fries are life y’all. The drinks are all really interesting and even include a fancy signature cocktail with pepper infused Komos and Grand Marnier 100 – it cannot wait to try it!
Peacock Alley is one of my favorite spots. I’ve actually already been back since these photos were taken and highly recommend it if you are in the Orlando area whether for cocktails or a full meal.
I also have a tropical update in this outfit. You probably noticed my favorite and familiar pink skirt, but I paired it with a new topical floral print top that is ever the Florida outfit with all the vacay vibes, just like Peacock Alley.
I added a Florida vibes bag and my tallest sandals that honestly, looking at the photos, I can’t believe I can walk in. But I can and I did and I love them way more than shoes should be loved. Almost as much as I love Peacock Alley.
