I have worn this dress a bunch of times. It’s one of my favorites … it’s so versatile and easy to wear. I’ve dressed it up and down, paired it with different colors, and this summer put it on and got completely different vibes from it.
With the makeup and my recently rose gold toned hair, I got these Victorian era, English society, dark and twisty and mysterious feels from this look. And I loved it.
Clearly these pictures were taken awhile ago, since it was you know, nice outside. #patioseason. The record breaking cold of November definitely has my SAD and anxiety going crazy, but just looking at these pictures helped.
This was such a fun day and night where I got to hang out with a friend and just enjoy life and the sunset and I felt like I didn’t have a care in the world, even if I did.
The deep tones contrast against the bright summer scenery and pop against the dusk sky. The purse … yeah, it doesn’t really go. But if I know myself, I was rushing out the door and it had my stuff in it and there was no other option. #noregrets.
One of the other times I wore this dress was on a visit to Marais. That was another seriously fun day. I’m all smiley just thinking about it (and jamming to OneRepublic and the sun is out and the tank is clean … wait this isn’t Finding Nemo …).
I want one lucky reader to have one such day, so I am giving away a $200 Marais Gift Card for breakfast, lunch, or dinner in their restaurant. It is located in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. So to all my local readers, be sure to enter this giveaway! Use the widget below! Good luck!
