It’s not hard to see why you could consider Orlando to be a wonderland of sorts. Theme parks abound, as do museums, restaurants, and shows of all kinds. There is always something to do.
One of my favorite things you do is hang out at resorts (you may have noticed that 😉 ), and the Ritz Carlton is at the top of my list, especially on holiday weekends when they pull out all the stops with a wonderland of their very own – no need to step foot off the expansive premises.
For Labor Day weekend, there were balloons, balloon animals, fresh coconuts cracked on the spot, booths featuring Maker’s Mark and Tito’s, a pop up bar, inflatable waterslides, and even more. It was the perfect place to spend a day.
And for the occasion I wore a fun and flirty crop top and mini skirt to go with the end of summer vacay vibes. Chunky sandals and bright makeup finished the look that I love so much.
This outfit reminds me a lot of the 1989 era from Taylor Swift, and the song Wonderland just so happens to be on that album. I’ve been told I look like Taylor from time to time (even by the late great Regis Philbin) and I find not only her music but also her style inspiring.
That’s why I’ll be bringing you some fashion posts themed on the different eras over the next few weeks. It’s a way for me to reconnect with my inspiration and creativity and kind of play into the fun of a low-key, real life tribute to Spooky Season.
