Detroit has an excellent zoo, one of the best in the country, and I had only been there once … on a field trip … in grade school … that I don’t remember.
An incredibly nice, late November day of record breaking warmth meant only one thing … a trip to the zoo.
Because they close early in the fall and winter months, we couldn’t spent a lot of time there or see everything we wanted to see, but we managed to squeeze in the penguins, butterflies, birds, and a bit more on our almost two hour walk around.
I wore a casual (for me anyway) outfit including my new J Crew sweater that had arrived earlier that day. I have a bit of an obsession with stars, so it was perfect for me and it matches my ghost charm pretty well. I’m still so obsessed with ghostie!
Hopefully more days of record breaking warmth and fun fashion are on the way soon!

They would look great on you, Agness!! I must admit, I wear heels just about everywhere – farmers’ market, sporting events, concerts. There are some pairs I swear I could climb a mountain while wearing 😉
