Earlier this week, I shared about our recent dinner at Parc and now I’m back with a look at my fashion that evening as well as the wonderful ambiance in Campus Martius.
We went because it was the last weekend for the Christmas tree to be up to go along with all the other lighted trees and the super busy ice rink. There is a fire pit with that wonderful campfire smell and great music playing.
Too bad it was absolutely freezing out and we couldn’t spend more time outside due to the bone chilling temperatures and winds.
I wore my sparkly blue dress to be festive and paired it with even more sparkly pumps that are “dinner shoes” aka not the most comfortable or easiest to walk in. my favorite grey wrap and purse rounded out the look.
Red lipstick is one of my musts in winter. Though I have been experimenting with darker colors, which I have always loved, red adds that pop of color and really makes a look feel complete.
Do you wear red lipstick?

I can’t do red lipstick. I’ve tried! It makes me look older, which I try to avoid :\

It’s always my go to – but pink is nice too. A really bright matte pink looks super young. Justin is a tiny one from Tom Ford that is nice. Have you tried red gloss or stain? That way you could get the vibe without all the drama.

I love red lipstick but as you age, you have to be careful that it doesn’t run into your lip lines. You look great in all your sparkles and red lipstick!
Laura says
Most lipsticks don’t cause that problem – it’s the gloss you have to watch. It even runs on me!
